Currency and Exchange:

The Moroccan currency is the Dirham, which is divided in 100 centimes. There are no monetary restrictions; EUROS, US Dollars and other hard currencies can be readily exchanged at agencies in airports, banks and hotels. The exchange rate is published daily in these agencies, in newspapers and by Bank AL-MAGHRIB (www.bkam.ma). The majority of credit cards (MasterCard, Visa Card, American Express, Diner’s Club) are accepted in hotels, supermarkets and some shops.
