First day : Marrakech / Ouarzazate / Boumalne Dades
07h00: departure from Marrakech to Ouarzazate by air-conditioned bus.
This post congress tour will start by crossing the arid stepp-land Haouz plain. It will lead you through the High Atlas mountains crossing the Tizi N’tichka pass (altitude 2600 m) After the pass, you will go through the sub-desert lands of the High Atlas southern slope, marked by numerous kasbahs, particularly that of Ait Ben Hadou classified as a UNESCO world cultural heritage. On this road, contrast seizing between the red colors of the villages will accompany you throughout your travel to the Ouarzazate city, located on the fringe of the Sahara desert in a valley between the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas Mountains.
Having lunch in a restaurant close to the Taourirt kasbah and visiting the17th century kasbah and old residence of the Pasha Glaoui. After midday, continuation of the excursion by crossing the road of the kasbahs with its diverse landscapes.
During this first day, you will crossed the distribution ranges of various Amphibian and reptile species (6 amphibians, 2 tortoises, more than 14 lizards and 8 snakes). Thus, stops are designed to prospect the natural habitats and possibly to observe some active species (particularly: Bufo mauritanicus, Rana saharica, Testudo graeca, Quedenfeldtia trachblepharus, Quedenfeldtia moerens, Agama impalearis, Uromastyx acanthinurus, Acanthodactylus spp., Coronella girondica, Macroprotodon cucullatus, Macrovipera mauritanica, Cerastes cerastes.

Second day: Boumalne Dades / Todgha gorges / return back to Marrakech
Breakfast at the Hotel
7h00 departure in direction to Tineghir Visiting the beautiful the southern Moroccan “Todra” gorges located between two cliffs which peaked at more than 300 m. The road crosses the Dades valley with its beautiful palm groves and gardens dominated by elegant red ground kasbahs.
Lunch in the Todra gorges
After midday return back to Marrakech
