Submission of Scientific Papers:
Abstracts of scientific papers must be submitted before October 31, 2006 to the local Organizing Committee exclusively by e-mail (cmh1@ucam.ac.ma) and in attached file, using the format Word. Abstracts must be in French or English and must not exceed 250 words, using the police font Times New Roman 12 points and a line space of 1.5 in all the text. The name, the mail address and the e-mail of the author(s) as well as the title of the communication must be clearly indicated. In the case of several authors, the name of the person presenting the paper should be indicated in bold. The abstract should comprise the objective(s) and the methodology of work and, in particular, a synopsis of the main obtained results and drawn conclusions.The authors must specify under which format (poster or oral presentation) they wish to present their paper. Before end-November 2006, the Organizing Committee will communicate to the authors the acceptance of their presentations. At least one of the authors must be registered in the congress.
Oral communications. The speaker will have 10 mn to develop his presentation, which should be in French or English; additional 5 mn will be reserved for the discussion. The speakers will have at their disposal a portable PC, a multi-media projector, an overhead projector for transparencies and a slide projector. Oral presentations must be in PowerPoint slideshow format and provided on flash disk or CD.
Posters. should be exhibited during the whole period of the Congress, each author of it will be responsible for his site. They can be presented in French or in English and their dimensions should be of 120 X 90 cm.
Publication of the communications :
Any author (of a poster or an oral communication) can submit articles for evaluation by the scientific committee which will decide acceptance of the articles to be published in a special issue of the Journal Naturalia Maroccana (The journal of Natural history museum of Marrakech). The article will have to be written according to the instructions for the authors. The manuscript should not exceed 4 pages. The deadline for submitting the articles is Friday 20 April 2007 before 6 p.m.(The last day of the Congress).
