SOPTOM Award :
5th Award to the Chelonian Conservation:
The SOPTOM (Station d’Observation et de Protection des Tortues du Maure) will decree for the fifth time an OSCAR for "a project or a programme on Chelonian conservation, awarded to an association, an individual, an organization or a State, worked or currently working on the conservation of the turtles", and particularly at the time of the Second Mediterranean Congress of Herpetology (CMH2) at Marrakech, with projects or programs being held in the Mediterranean areas. The prize will be granted on application, by a jury made up for half of the organizers of the Congress, and for half of the administrators of the SOPTOM. It consists of an OSCAR (a gilded metal object representing a Greek statere in the shape of tortoise) and a sum of 3000 €.

N.B.: The candidates to the 5th SOPTOM’s Prize must be necessarily registered in the Congress.
