Description

The Multilingual scientific E-document processing team was born in 2001 with like general project the development of the ingeniery from the electronic document attached to the Department of Computer Science from the Faculty of Science from the University Cadi Ayyad at Marrakech in Morocco.

Since 1996, the principal project was the realization of a system of treatment of the Arabic mathematical document. This project, in international matter, was selected because of the complexity and the diversity of the contents, making it possible to explore the possibilities of typographical and data-processing technologies. It operates in the sector of sciences and information and communication technologies of the field of the Engineerings. A sector in full evolution and carrying scientific and economic development potential.

It is an interdisciplinary team federated by the E-document. The transdisciplinarity of the team enables him to be recipient in very varied projects. The great disciplines which are represented there are: Data processing, Mathematics, Digital Typography, ...

With this research studies concerning the impact of communication and sciences and information technologies are added on formation (Internet, simulators and virtual reality). The adopted point of view concerns the ergonomics of the tools for learning and the trainers.

The management of information in the companies and on a world level on the Internet and the Web poses in a crucial way the problem of the contents of the company of information: how to code and standardize these contents, to make them available and to exploit them in a way distributed via the networks? The objective of this topic is to propose powerful tools for the coding and the data-processing management of this information, for the structuring of knowledge, and the access through a dialogue between the user and the system in a multilingual environment.
