Station 1 : Tizi n’Labsiys

Description: descent in a reforestation project in Arizona Cypress (Cupressus arizonica), with a few feet Cade (Juniperus thurifera), until a village crossing irrigated. 2153 to 2000m altitude, on limestone, marls, pelites and basalts.
Dominant vegetation: Ormenis scariosa, Artemisia mesatlantica, Bupleurum spinosum, Santolina rosmarinifolia, Genista scorpius, Agropyron festucoides
.


Herpetofauna potential :

Fauna (no herpetofauna) : Traquet rieur (Oenanthe leucura), Linotte mélodieuse (Acanthis canabina), Ecureuil de Barbarie (Atlantoxerus getulus) ; cultures irriguées et villages : Bruant du Sahara (Emberiza sahari), Pinson des arbres (Fringilla coelebs), merle noir (Turdus merula), Mésange bleue du Maghreb (Cyanistes tenerifae).

 
 

Station 2 : Amsoukki

Description: stroll along the water points exposed in a wadi, with terraces and silt reg. Altitude 1270 m, on calcareous crusts, and alluvial silt.
Dominant Vegetation : edge of Wadi: Juncus maritimus, Vitex agnus-castus, Phoenix dactylifera, Tamarix canariensis, Erianthus ravennae ; dry land: Hamada scoparia, Carthamus fruticosus, Salsola tetragona, Astragalus armatus


Herpetofauna potential :

Fauna (no herpetofauna) : Traquet du désert (Oenanthe deserti), Traquet à tête blanche (Oenanthe leucopyga),

 
 

Station 3 : Bou Izgarn 

Description: all backgrounds clearly pre-Sahara, with the south side of High Atlas Mountains and Lake Mansour Ed Dahbi background; regs poor environments, with wadis. Altitude 1150 m, on calcareous Quaternary alluvium above, with light sandy veneer.
Dominant Vegetation: regs: Hamada scoparia, Farsetia aegyptiaca ; wadis : Ziziphus lotus, Zilla macroptera, Artemisia inculta, Launea arborescens


Herpetofauna potential :

Fauna (no herpetofauna) : Traquet du désert (Oenanthe deserti), Traquet à tête blanche (Oenanthe leucopyga), Ammomane élégante (Ammomanes cincturus)

 
 

Station 4 : Issougrid :

Description: Small groove in very rocky terrain, with some palm trees. Altitude 1200 m on rhyolites.
Dominant Vegetation: Withania adpressa, Carthamus fruticosus, Convolvulus trabutianus, Hamada scoparia, Ononis natrix, Lavandula mairei.


Herpetofauna potential :

Fauna (no herpetofauna) : Roselin gitagine (Rhodopechys gitaginea), Ammomane isabelline (Ammomanes deserti), Agrobate roux (Cercotichas galactotes), Dromoïque du désert (Scotocerca inquieta).

 
 

Station 5 : Fenfel 

Description: Beautiful views of the Anti Atlas, Jebel Saghro and Upper Draa palm groves with his first. 1600 m altitude on rhyolites


 
 

Station 6 : Takatert

Description: Ride palm grove on the banks of the Oued Draa. 900 m above sea level on alluvial sandy loam with veneers
Dominant Vegetation: Phoenix dactylifera, Arundo donax, Erianthus ravennae, Tamarix canariensis and crops


Herpetofauna potential :

Fauna (no herpetofauna) : Avifauna of palm, Bulbul des jardins (Pycnonotus barbatus), Hypolais opaque (Hipolais opaca), Fauvette mélanocéphale (Sylvia melanocephala), Merle noir (Turdus merula)…
